October 14, 2008 -- Sesame Software acquires Tunelware, adding Portal for Salesforce to its product line-up

Sesame Software announced today a the acqusition of Tunelware of Austin, TX in a strategic move toward development of vertical applications that are closely coupled with Salesforce.com. The Tunelware Portal will allow customers to host internal or external web portals that use the Relational Junction for Salesforce replicated database. This solution is available as a hosted or premise-based application.

Sesame Software will use the Portal for its own customer-facing issue tracking system.

Junior State of America has signed a contract for Sesame Software to provide its web-facing customer portal and back-end accounting integration, allowing customers to register, schedule events, and receive invoices from JSA's QuickBooks Enterprise accounting system.
